Roni Hirvonen was born on January 10, 2002, is a Finnish ice hockey player who currently plays for Toronto Maris, an AHL affiliate of the NHL Toronto Maple Leafs. He mainly plays as a winger (W) and has experience as a center (C). He is proficient in both offense and defense, with comprehensive skills. On the defensive end, he restricts the opponent with high work efficiency and precise prediction, and is good at blocking passing routes and physical confrontation. On the offensive end, opportunities are created by flexible positioning and precise shooting, especially in front of the goal and quick transitions. Hirvonen is renowned on the field for his strong defensive awareness. He always maintains a high-intensity work pace and is adept at taking advantage of his physical superiority when competing for the ball.
