William Carrier is a professional ice hockey player from Canada. Born on 7 December 1993, he plays primarily as a left winger and currently plays for the Carolina Hurricanes. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the second round, 57th overall, in the 2013 NHL Draft, but was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 2014.Carrier made his NHL debut in 2016-17 and scored eight points in 41 games.In 2017, he was drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights and evolved into a solid bottom-six forward, 2018- 19 season reaching a career-high eight goals.He won the Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights in 2023 and signed a six-year, $12 million contract with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2024.Carrier is known for his tough physical play and strong competitive spirit, being able to scramble effectively and create chances in games.
